Frequently Asked Questions

ELOPEMENT & WEDDING FAQ’S

Absolutely! I understand that choosing a specific date or location for your elopement might be a work in progress. You can still book with me without a fixed date or location. Here's how the process works:

1. We'll start with an initial consultation to discuss your vision, seasonal preferences, and potential locations.

2. Once you've chosen a location, I'll send you my availability and help you select the perfect date!

Do you photograph weddings at venueS?

Most of the elopements and weddings I book are held at non-traditional venues (such as a B&B, family home, state/national park, etc.) I do take a limited amount of weddings at "normal" traditional wedding venues if they align with my documentary style and have a focus on intimacy + nature.

how does payment work? do you have payment plans?

The only requirement for payment is a retainer fee with final balance due 2 weeks before your event.
Retainer fees:

30% for Elopements + Weddings
50% for Sessions

After the retainer is paid, you can choose to make payments whenever you'd like. The final balance is due 2 weeks before your event.

Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes! When you receive your gallery, there is a print shop built right in so you can directly order prints and albums easily. I have chosen high-quality print labs that will do your photos justice.

What is your turnaround time?

For elopements and small weddings, I guarantee a 30 day turnaround time.

For Sessions, it's a 2-week turnaround.

Do you offer destination elopement packages?

While traveling is one of my biggest passions, I only shoot New England events for several reasons!
I believe you deserve a photographer that you can trust and is an expert in the elopement location you choose, instead of just trying to fill my portfolio with epic landscapes from all around the world.
I spend a lot of time location scouting, exploring, camping and hiking all over New England, and in doing so have compiled lists of beautiful locations as well as knowledge of the area so I can help my couples find a stunning and unique setting for their day.

🌧️ What happens if it rains for our wedding day?

If the forecast takes an unexpected turn, I always come prepared with flexibility and creative solutions. Whether it's embracing the beauty of rain, finding sheltered spots for intimate moments, or having an indoor backup plan in mind, we'll work together to ensure your elopement remains magical, no matter what the weather brings.

What is an elopement? Small wedding?

Elopements allow couples to celebrate their love in a way that feels authentic and personal to them, often breaking away from conventional wedding norms. From choosing a unique and meaningful location to crafting a ceremony that reflects your love story, the possibilities are endless. Eloping doesn't have to be just the two of you - my packages include up to 75 guests!

Do you work with a second shooter?

Second shooters are available to add onto any package for $150/hour. I have a very talented group of photographers that I choose to work with and who closely match my style when it comes to photographing. I typically recommend having a second shooter if your wedding will have over 50 guests.

How many photos will we get?

The amount of photos depends on which package you book, how many events or activities you have, if there's a second shooter, ect. (more hours = more photos), but in general, you’ll receive 40-50 fully edited photos per hour you’ve booked.
